“I have so much to be thankful for” kunta. Hehe! Thank you so much, Rufaida, for this Starbucks planner. Medyo late na but you have no idea how much you’ve made me happy!

And thanks to Monique for lending me money to pay for the owl rings I ordered online the past two nights (compulsive buy) and for the company. Had my favorite frappe and panini at my favorite place in the world today so I feel pretty good. Mark just got more tampo though.

Alas — a long entry! I didn’t feel like updating much lately because I thought ewoishe.com might be turned into a porn site. But now that it’s back, here’s what I’ve been doing this week:

Monday

Jean and I wanted to go out with Fifi for coffee but then we found out that she was on labor na so we (with my Mark) just visited her that night and found baby Haku already beside her — it was a lovely sight to see! I got to carry Haku — it was my first time carrying a baby and it was nice. I was tikig, but it was nice. Now I’m contemplating whether I still hate children or hindi na. Haku, y u change ninang ha?

I went home happy that night — although I got very sick afterwards and crashed at the boyfriend’s place. He had to take care of me daw. Felt sorry for him though.

Tuesday

I woke up and felt like I was feeling better already — but no. I wanted to get newly bathed Haku something so I still went out to see her. Mark happily accompanied me even though he was very hungry. And I wanted to see my friends!

That’s Mark behind me, Vlad carrying Haku, Ava and Monique — we’re all staying away from Fifi and her exorcised feet, lol. Jerry (Ava’s boyfriend) was behind the camera so no Jerry for the meantime. We spent about 2-3 hours just talking and it was good. Mark got to be with his pare — hahahahahaha!

After visiting the new family, we went on our separate ways — Ava left with Jerry to do some schoolwork, Monique went to see her best friend, and Mark and I went on our very first date this year. I was supposed to pay my domain name but thought about more important things — plus the bank being closed when we got there was a sign that I should go back to using my normal Tumblr URL. I also felt like money would be such a waste if I spend it all on myself.

After two hours, Monique texted me that she was in need of company so Mark and I went to meet her at Libro. 3-4 hours spent more on talking and still, it was good. I like talking and telling stuff to Monique. I’m still wondering why I find her “fu*k you” (coming out of her mouth like burp) hilarious. And because I’ve been asking coins from her ever since our last coffee date together, I decided to surprise attack her — which was awkward because she found out about it while we were in the middle of a conversation. I thought she was about to leave early so I decided to do it agad. False alarm.

Felt happy having cookies and cream again — and this time with Mark (for the first time, us together, in Libro). I felt sorry for him though because he wasn’t able to sleep after having a frappe — he was awake for the next 15 hours and hated it very much.

Wednesday

My morning was spent planning more surprise attacks! Mwahahahaha! Although I still suck at it, I think.

I met with Monique because she borrowed Mark’s calculator for an exam, which gave me an excuse to give her a little something, heehee. I went to Jean’s office afterwards because she’s been telling me to apply there for weeks (months, even). I decided to check the place I never knew existed, which was also an excuse to give her a little something. Last but not the least, I went to Fifi’s to see Haku again. Sawa na ba u, baby? Fifi also asked me to bring her mango shake and I couldn’t say no — sorry if mango juice nalang siya when it arrived though. Haha! I didn’t stay long because I had chores to do so I just handed her a little something (I know she’s never going to use) and left.

I went home and thought, “nothing makes me happier than this”.

My night didn’t go well though — ewoishe.com eventually expired, I had nothing to write on my resume, I realized that I only know little about web designing, money mattered again, and Mark got super tampo. I also realized how compulsive I can get when I see owl rings and necklaces online — “MINE!” on all the owl ring photos I see on Facebook even though I have nothing to pay for ‘em. Haha!

Today

I woke up and thought, “today is full of opportunities”. With Eat Bulaga in town (Mark’s mom was tres excited, lol) and with me (finally!) applying for a job.

I left Mark and crammed my resume which was super fail ‘cause the links I had put were unavailable (because my domain had expired already) and I also included ewoishe.com/doodles on my sample works and I had no idea why. I felt like I was possessed by some random monster trying not to get me hired (aka Mark). It’s a recycle bin page, my goodness! Anyway, the boyfriend was still tampo because he hasn’t been my top priority lately (even with gifts, which is odd because he’s always number one on my list) but I just ignored him. Nag-away nalang kami kunwari.

And so, I went to submit my resume slash apply for the job Jean’s been making kulit of me, lowered my self-esteem afterwards, and pondered. The HR called me hours later and scheduled my exam. Now I’m even more (what’s the word?).

The rest of the day was boring like the usual, depressing even, but thank goodness for Jean and her lending powers, my beloved domain’s back! Problem is, Mark’s still tampo. I’m thinking of making him dinner so I guess this’ll be all for now.

Last night (top) and today (bottom). Man, this colds won’t go away. But thank goodness Mark’s in a really good mood and took good care of me — now my temp’s down. This won’t stop me from going out though!

Today, I got to carry this beautiful baby girl (it was my first time carrying one!) — and I think something changed in me. There’s still hope! Thank you (and congratulations), Fifi and Vlad. And thanks for the company, boyfriend and Jean.
